This page describes the Staris product architecture at a user level. It intentionally does not expose private prompts, credentials, or infrastructure details.

STEP 01

You provide the birth details Staris needs.

A Staris profile starts with information such as birth date, birthplace, and—when known—birth time. Birth time matters especially for rising-sign and house precision. Current location can also be used where present-day timing context depends on location.

STEP 02

Staris builds structured chart context.

The application uses a dedicated astrology calculation service and its own interpretation library to assemble structured context for the feature being used. Depending on the experience, that context can include natal placements, aspects or relationships between placements, timing information, compatibility context, and other profile data.

This is the important distinction: the AI is given chart context. It is not simply asked to guess an astrology reading from a zodiac sign.

STEP 03

AI explains the context in plain language.

Once the relevant context is assembled, Staris asks its language model to interpret that information in the tone and format required by the feature. A daily reading, compatibility report, dream interpretation, and chat response are different products even when they share the same underlying profile.

Guardrails instruct the model to stay grounded in the supplied context and to avoid presenting astrology as factual proof of medical, legal, financial, or hidden interpersonal outcomes.

STEP 04

Your account can carry context forward.

Some Staris experiences can use account context from prior interactions so a follow-up does not have to restate everything. This is product memory, not psychic certainty: it is based on information you have shared with the service and the settings or plan that apply to your account.
